BDJ Plumbing Services was established in 2015.
I'm a local plumber in Exeter and I was born and raised in the City.
When I left school I trained as a plumber in Exeter with a local firm and did a day release 4 year apprenticeship at Exeter college.
After this I went on to work at a number of plumbing companies in Exeter. In 2015 I decided to set up my own business, specialising in small domestic plumbing jobs.
I believe local businesses are the way forward and I always like to use local tradesmen whenever I can.
I have over 18 years experience and am efficient, hard working and reliable. After every job I always clear up and leave the area where I've worked clean and tidy.

I mainly take care of the smaller plumbing problems and emergencies you may have. Common issues such as burst pipes, toilet repair, leaks, blockages, taps, toilets, showers, basins radiator fitting or repairs etc.
I take on bigger projects like bathrooms, when the demand for smaller plumbing jobs and emergencies is less. It's usually a seasonal thing.

For emergency plumbing works such as leaks, burst pipes and toilet not flushing, I will get to you as quickly as I can. Because I'm a local plumber in Exeter and live in the St. James/Pennsylvania area I can get to you quicker, St. David's also.
A common plumbing emergency that I have to deal with is burst flexible tap connectors (usually on the hot side). As you can see from the photo below, the braided steel has frayed and the rubber tube underneath had split, causing it to burst and flood the customers kitchen. If you have these hoses on any of your connections to your taps or toilet, it's best to check them from time to time. If they're beginning to fray or go brown, it would be a good idea to get them changed, roughly every 5 years or so to be safe.
